Job Description

This opening is for Staff Application Engineer role at the EMEA Aerospace Defense and Governmental Centralized AE team. The Engineer will provide technical support for customer’s applications and enabling customer success and business for NI. Travel to customers in EMEA region and provide support at customer site will be a part of responsibility.

The Targeted Customer Applications For This Role Are

The main focus industry for this opening is the Aerospace and Defense. Following domains are targeted for the candidate. 

• Electronic system test (for Design and control, functional and parametric and production test)

• System controller and Mil/Aero BUS test

• Electromechanical system test

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor or master`s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Communication or similar

• Customer oriented with a passion to drive solutions of customer engineering problems

• Experience in Electronic Device or Electromechanical System, Communication Buses and controller test or research and prototype, or other relevant experience in test domain

• Software experience in test & measurement

Preffered Qualifications

• Experience in architecting, developing, customizing and debugging SW applications in programming languages in either Python, Matlab, C# .NET. or C++

• Sensor Physics, Analogue and Digital Signal Processing

• Experience with NI HW (cRIO platform, PXI Modular Instruments platform, FlexRIO FPGA Cards) and SW (LabVIEW, Veristand, LabVIEW FPGA, Teststand) beneficial but not mandatory
